Jeff Berkowitz is group vice president, Global Market Access and U.S.
Managed Markets, for Schering-Plough Corporation.
In this role, Berkowitz leads Schering-Plough's market access activities
worldwide for company products across the portfolio. He is also responsible
for managed care sales and for marketing, developing and implementing
all strategies, initiatives and operations for Schering-Plough's core
brands in all managed markets within the U.S. Additionally, Berkowitz
leads a team of pricing and reimbursement and health economists that
provide support to country operations worldwide. Berkowitz, a licensed
attorney with health care law expertise, joined Schering-Plough in 1998
as a senior commercial counsel in the Law department.
Prior to joining Schering-Plough, Berkowitz was a health care attorney
with the international firm of Proskauer Rose, specializing in health
care mergers and acquisitions, fraud and abuse, licensing and corporate
issues.
Berkowitz graduated from Union College in 1988 with a B.A. in political
science. He received a J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1992.
He is a member of the Bar in New York and New Jersey.
