C. David Nicholson, Ph.D., is senior vice president, Global Project
Management, for Schering-Plough Corporation.
Nicholson was named to his position in October 2007 and has responsibility
for Global Project Management for the Schering-Plough Research Institute.
Before joining Schering-Plough, Nicholson was executive vice president,
Research & Development, at Organon in Oss, the Netherlands. Also
at Organon, he was head of Global Research, responsible for the company's
research worldwide, and held a number of other management positions
there, including director of the Cardiovascular and CNS drugs programs
and head of Research, Oss. Nicholson previously worked at the Beecham
research site in Germany.
Nicholson studied pharmacology and earned a BSc. degree from the University
of Manchester and a Ph.D. from the University of Wales.
