The company's largest laboratory facility is housed on the corporate
campus of Schering-Plough in Kenilworth, N.J., with laboratories
specializing in medicinal and biophysical chemistry, molecular biology,
pharmacology and other core research disciplines. In addition to
drug discovery, Schering-Plough Research Institute-Kenilworth contains
areas devoted to drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, clinical development
and pharmaceutical sciences. In addition, the Kenilworth location
is where key drug development decisions are made using the company's
proprietary Customer-Centered Product Flow (CCPF) process.
