Global Clinical Operations (GCO) has established a global set of standards, policies and practices to build a management system to oversee clinical trials worldwide. The objectives are for improved planning and greater consistency in clinical trial execution.
The GCO team is responsible for management, summarization, interpretation and reporting of clinical trials. This group conducts other support functions for SPRI as well, including site monitoring for all therapy areas. Through the construction of electronic databases for maintenance of clinical data, data are analyzed and clinical study reports are organized. The group also prepares registration dossiers seeking marketing approval for investigational products.
